Why it exists

I could stop on calm days. Real life was harder.

I could build up days, sometimes weeks, without smoking. But around certain people, places and stressful or social moments, the cravings would build and my original reason for stopping felt distant.

If I smoked, I felt as though I had undone everything. Eventually, I tried something different. Instead of focusing on stopping, I focused on something I genuinely wanted: reducing my chances of cancer. Each morning, whether I had smoked or not, I reflected on yesterday with a sticky note and committed to today.

“On days I had smoked, I didn’t feel guilt or failure. It was simply information.”

When it gets difficult

Use the right support

Recognise your HotSpots, slow the moment with guided breathing or raise a Smoke Signal for encouragement.

The aim is not a perfect day. It is to see patterns, prepare for difficult moments and make decisions that align with what you want for yourself.
